Actives
Actives are the high-dose, active ingredients that you can use depending on your skin type and skin goals. You can use the actives pure or add them to one of the basics.
As professionals, we divide the actives into 2 categories:
- The acids - these are the peels, they exfoliate the skin
- The builders - these rebuild the skin
For these products, too, you will find the key ingredients, usage instructions, tips, and percentages.
Fruit acid peel, AHA (water-soluble) - acid
Key ingredients:
Mandelic acid: Exfoliates, removes dead epidermal cells
Propylene glycol: Provides hydration and moisture-binding effects
What else do you need to know?
Within the Prescription concept, Mandelic Acid is the AHA with the largest molecule. As a result, this peel penetrates the skin layers more slowly. It is therefore excellently suited for sensitive skin types. In addition, it contains a protein-splitting enzyme that effectively targets superficial skin cells. Think of minor impurities, 'fresh' scars, and pigmentation.
Tip: if the skin is very dry, the peel may pill; this is not a problem!
Neutralize the peel well after the processing time, according to the 4-step plan.
How to use?
PROFESSIONAL: Mandelic Acid 40%: Use the mandelic acid pure during the intense peel, or mix it with the Edelweiss cleanser during a pre-peel or for a milder peel.
AT HOME: Mandelic Acid 20%: General advice for at-home use of Mandelic Acid is to add 3 drops to the Edelweiss Cleanser 3 times a week. It is up to you as the specialist to determine if this should perhaps be less to start with, or if it can already be increased.
Fruit acid peel, AHA (water-soluble) - acid
Key ingredients:
Glycolic acid: Exfoliates and brightens
Propylene glycol: Provides hydration and moisture-binding properties
What else do you need to know?
Within the Prescription concept, glycolic acid is the fruit acid peel with the smallest molecule. This allows the peel to penetrate the skin layers easily, quickly, and deeply. As a result, the peel is ideally suited for deeper skin problems, such as anti-aging concerns, older scars, and deeper pigmentation issues.
Tip: Always neutralize the glycolic acid peel thoroughly, according to the 4-step plan!
How to use?
PROFESSIONAL: Glycolic Acid 20%: Use the glycolic acid pure during the intense peel, or mix it with the Edelweiss Cleanser during pre-peel or for a milder peel.
AT HOME: Glycolic Acid 10%: General advice for at-home use of glycolic acid is to add 3 drops to the Edelweiss Cleanser 3 times a week. It is up to you as the specialist to determine if this should perhaps be less initially, or if it can already be more.
Fruit acid peel, BHA (fat-soluble) - acid
Key ingredients:
Salicylic acid: Dissolves excess sebum, has an anti-inflammatory effect
Azelaic acid: Inhibits bacterial growth, reduces redness
What else do you need to know?
Because this peel is a BHA, meaning it is fat-soluble, it is ideally suited for oilier, congested skin. This includes skin with high sebum production, clogged pores, and inflammation, as well as true acne-prone skin. The 2 acids work excellently together and ensure quick results.
Tip: Neutralize the peel well after the contact time, following the 4-step plan.
How to use?
PROFESSIONAL: Salicylic acid 2% Azelaic 14%: Use the salicylic acid pure during the intense peel, or mix it with the Edelweiss Cleanser during pre-peel or for a milder peel.
AT HOME: Salicylic acid 2% Azelaic 7%: General advice for at-home use of salicylic acid is to add 3 drops to the Edelweiss cleanser 3 times a week. You could also use it as a spot treatment for active inflammation. It is up to you as a specialist to determine if this should perhaps be a bit less at first, or if it could already be a bit more.
Fruit acid peel with antioxidants, AHA - acid
Key ingredients:
Ferulic Acid (8%): Protects the skin against oxidative damage and stimulates collagen production.
Lactic Acid (4,5%): Brightens the complexion, improves skin texture, and supports hydration and barrier function.
Malic Acid (3%): Refines skin texture, reduces fine lines caused by dryness, and removes dead skin cells.
Phlorentin (5%): Helps even out pigmentation and offers protection against free radicals.
Retinyl (0,02%): Stimulates cell renewal, reduces fine lines and pigment spots, and activates the production of collagen and elastin for long-term anti-aging effects.
How to use?
PROFESSIONAL: The multi acid complex peel is a powerful peel due to the blend of various acids and antioxidants. For every Prescription peel, it is essential that clients have exfoliated their skin at home for at least 4 weeks prior to the peel, 1-2 times per week, using, for example, the Glycolic acid peel 10% in combination with one of the Prescription cleansers. 7 days before the peel, the client should stop using exfoliating home products and retinol. Full sun exposure must also be avoided.
AT HOME ADVICE: After the treatment, clients should never leave without home care advice. Must-haves after the treatment: Cleanser / SPF / Edelweiss Cream or Bisabolol Balm. Only resume the use of acids after 7 days.
Ascorbic acid, Vitamin C variant - active, builder
Key ingredients:
Ascorbic acid: Vitamin C
What else do you need to know?
Ascorbic acid is a very powerful antioxidant and also has anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, this active ingredient has an even-toning and brightening effect on pigmentation issues, as well as on the skin in general. It also improves the skin's healing process and increases the effectiveness of sun protection.
Tip: Seal the Ascorbic Acid tightly and store in a dark, cool place to prevent oxidation.
How to use?
PROFESSIONAL: You can mix the 20% Ascorbic Acid with your Edelweiss Cleanser during the pre-peel step; furthermore, you can mix it with the Inca Inchi Oil during the massage, apply it under a mask, and add it to your layering routine.

Key ingredients:
Vitamin C: helps protect the skin against free radicals and other external influences. Stimulates collagen production and helps to visibly reduce pigment spots and discolorations for a more even, radiant skin.
Ferulic Acid: A plant-based ingredient found in rice and oats, among others. Protects the skin against daily external stress and strengthens the antioxidant effect of Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
Vitamin E: A protective vitamin that helps the skin recover and keeps it strong and supple.
What else do you need to know?
The improved formula combines 15% Vitamin C with 0.5% Ferulic Acid and 1% Vitamin E for a powerful brightening boost. The serum helps to visibly reduce pigment spots and gives the skin a fresh, even, and radiant glow.
How to use?
AT HOME: The 15% Vitamin C is most suitable for home use to be applied pure or mixed into your Edelweiss Cream or Bisabolol Balm. General retail advice is to add 4-5 drops of your 15% Vitamin C Serum once a day to your
base product. Wonderful to use during the day in the summer to support the effect of your SPF.
- active, builder
Key ingredients:
Niacinamide: Is a vitamin B3 that can offer benefits for almost every skin type
What else do you need to know?

It also regulates sebum production, has anti-inflammatory properties, and acts as an antioxidant.
How to use?

- active, builder
Key ingredients:
Retinyl palmitate: Derivative of retinoic acid
What else do you need to know?
Retinyl Palmitate works on cell renewal; it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. In addition, it has a positive effect on skin structure, fades hyperpigmentation, and removes dead skin cells. It is important to use Retinyl Palmitate in the evening, as sunlight breaks down vitamin A. Furthermore, the product must be introduced gradually and always used in combination with an SPF.
How to use?
PROFESSIONAL: You can mix the 3.7% Retinyl Palmitate with your Edelweiss Cleanser during the pre-peel step; you can also mix it with the Inca Inchi Oil during the massage, apply it under (and through) the mask, and add it to your layering routine. Pay close attention to the time of day when doing so.
AT HOME: The 3.7% Retinyl Palmitate is suitable for home use to be mixed with your Edelweiss Cream, Bisabolol Balm, or Inca Inchi Oil. Start with 2 evenings a week, adding 4 drops to the cream or oil. Is this going well? Then, after 2 weeks, you may increase to 3 evenings a week, and 2 weeks after that to 4 evenings a week. Stick to a maximum of 4 evenings to avoid over-stimulating the skin.

This creates space in the skin for new, healthy cells with healthy cell division and the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, you will see the skin improve and rejuvenate within a few weeks. Within our concept, we use the product for retail, but we have also developed treatments with it.

AT HOME: The advice is to apply 4-5 drops of the zombie cell serum pure to clean skin twice a day. In the morning, follow with your moisturizer and SPF. In the evening, we recommend applying 4-5 drops of the recovery oil after the serum.
